▪︎ BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING
▪︎ The BME Program offers lecture courses and hands-on practical laboratories and projects covering a range of engineering disciplines focused on medical, pharmaceutical, and biological sciences. Students study fundamental mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology subjects in the first year before focusing on more detailed engineering concepts in the second year. In the third year, students can choose one from six tracks, each of which has different emphasis.

▪︎ CIVIL ENGINEERING PROGRAM (CE) offers many areas of specialization for educational and research focus: construction engineering management, geotechnical engineering, innovation materials, structure engineering, transportation engineering, water resources engineering and environmental engineering. This Civil Engineering program provides unique or the somatic knowledge with the focus on innovative advancements in technology, applications, tools, and software. The CE is exciting, hand-on program combining modern technology with applications in Civil Engineering. Among the many unique opportunities open to CE students is the Civil Engineering Cooperative Program (CECOP) and Oversea Training (CEOT). The program offers students a high quality, paid industry/research experience and related academic activities while pursuing the degree.

Core courses of this program cover the fundamentals of many areas in computer engineering
to develop computerpersonnel with broad skills. In order to respond to the demand for automation,
the program also includes artificial intelligence and machine learning in its core courses.
▪︎ Amid the COVID 19 pandemic situation, the transformation to the digital economy is still an essential change for the long-term development of the country. The digital economy based on digital computing technologies, has become more important over the years. ▪︎ Electrical engineering basically involves the generation, storage and use of electricity, also the transmission, distribution, and transformation of electrical energy. Also trends in emerging technologies such as electric vehicle, railway electrification system, renewable energy, smart grids are supplementarily provided in this program. Through the hands-on practicing and guidance, students will learn great deal about being a handy electrical power engineer. Apart from the technical knowledge, soft skills required to be an outstanding engineer such as creativity, communication, and collaboration skills in problem-based learning are also provided.

Energy Engineering Program has intensive cooperation with the industrial sector to prepare for effective future careers

▪︎ Energy Engineering Program (International Program) is designed to support future energy industries. The program emphasized the energy fields which comprised of systems analysis using modeling. ▪︎ KMITL-NIDA Dual Degrees Program in Financial Engineering is a combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree program jointly offered by School of Engineering, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), and School of Development Economics, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA). The program integrates fundamental knowledge in economics, financial mathematics, and computer science and incorporates modern techniques and tools in data science to train a new generation of financial engineers who are capable of analyzing the huge amount of financial data to support the design of financial tools, innovations, and solutions. The graduates are expected to be ready to work confidently in the international financial industry with integrity and professional ethics.

Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management (IELM)
▪︎ concerned with the development, improvement, implementation, and evaluation of integrated systems of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy, and materials. It uses mathematical, physical, and social sciences together with the principles and methods of engineering design to specify, predict, and evaluate the results to be obtained from such systems or processes. Logistics management uses information management tools and financial technology for logistics operations and supply chain management with the aim to enhance logistics operations, service quality and the utilization of resources through effective design of procurement, transport, distribution and inventory.

Our SE producing engineers caliber in software development and research, as well as having professional integrity and ethics. The program is a 4-year undergraduate course conducted entirely in English. It is taught by a team of academics with expertise in software engineering and AI technology from KMITL and our overseas partner universities. The graduate will be awarded a B.Eng. degree in Software Engineering.
